According to Ashok Sah, head of Thankot Depot, 1,517 kiloliters of petrol and 1,729 kiloliters of diesel have been distributed in the market from 3 pm to 9 pm on Monday. . On Tuesday, the demand for 1000 kiloliters of petrol and 920 kiloliters of diesel was sent to the market accordingly. .

"As soon as the union agreed, we loaded the fuel and distributed it in the market till 9 pm, after that we unloaded the tankers from Barauni and Amlekhganj from 9 pm to 12 pm," said Depot chief Shah, "We have sent more than the demand of the valley on Tuesday as well." The fuel has reached all the pumps, there is no need to stand in line for petrol anymore.

He informed that about 5200 kiloliters of fuel has been sent to the market in two days. "The amount of fuel distributed on Monday is the highest ever," he said. 700 kiloliters of petrol and 850 kiloliters of diesel are sold daily from Thankot depot. Due to the protest by the drivers, the common people suffered on Sunday and Monday. Private petrol pumps did not distribute fuel. There was a huge crowd of people at the army, police and armed police pumps.

After the discussion with Nepal Oil Corporation at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply on Monday, the union withdrew the protest. In the discussion chaired by Commerce and Supply Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, agreement has been reached on the formation of a sub-committee to address the demands raised by the union. The said sub-committee is mandated to study and submit a report within 15 days.
