Machindra Football Club on Friday beat Jagdamba Steel in the 14th Simra Gold Cup Football Club final at Simra Stadium.

In the first semi-final held at Simra Stadium on Friday night, Siraha's Salhesh Yuva Club became a contender for the Machindra title by defeating it 2-0.

Machindra will now play the winner of Saturday's departmental derby between APF and Police for the title.

Bimal Ghartimagar and Devendra Tamang scored in Machindra's victory. Machindra scored both goals in the first half of the match. Machindra took the lead in the 30th minute of the game through Bimal's goal. Bimal took control of the pass provided by Chiring Gurung from outside the box and scored a great goal.

In the injury time of the first half, Devendra doubled Machindra's lead by adding a goal. Abhishek Gurung's corner was scored by Devendra through heading.
