A person has been arrested on the charge of raping a woman who was in a dull state of mind in Gulria Municipality-6 Shantitol.
The police arrested 56-year-old Saeed Ahmed Manihar, a local. Tulsiram Aryal, DSP of the district police office, informed that he forcibly raped the woman, who is about 27 years old, at 10:45 on Thursday night when there was no one at home.
According to him, the locals informed the police after they found out that the woman had been raped. According to the police, a case of extortion has been registered against him and investigation has been started.
