The body of a young man who had been missing for three days was found in the Seti river. His body, which was found stuck in the groove of the Seti River in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-1 Karuwa, was recovered by a team of armed police on Monday.

The dead body belongs to 25-year-old Jagat Pun, resident of Machhapuchhre Village-1 Karuwa. Armed Police Force Nepal no. 24 Kalika Gana Kaski Chief SP Arun Paidel said.

His body was found stuck on a stone 3 meters deep in the water of 150 meters of the river Seti.

According to SP Paudel, the dead body was rescued and sent to Manipal Teaching Hospital Pokhara for post-mortem. After receiving information that people's hands were seen floating and the flow of water was strong, armed police from Kalika Gana were deployed for rescue.

SP Paidel said that Pun's family identified him only after rescuing the body. According to him, Pun was missing since 1st Baisakh.
