Wagmati state government has divided the Ministry of Social Development. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to split the ministry and form the youth and sports ministry in order to give responsibility to non-departmental minister Rama Alemgar.
Magar, MP of United Samajwadi Party, became a non-departmental minister a month and a half ago.
The number of ministries in Wagmati has reached 13 .
Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel reduced the number of ministries from 14 to 12 to cut costs. He has again increased the number of ministries to protect his government.
