Three people have been arrested for stabbing to death. 22-year-old Vikash Rai, 20-year-old Ashan Rai and 28-year-old Ganesh Rai were arrested on Monday, who were involved in the murder of Dhanjit Rai, the deceased Dhanjit Rai of Kharmi, Diktel Rupakot, Majhuwagadhi Municipality-11 on New Year's Day.
A team under the command of Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Khadka arrested Dhanpati Rai of Bhusunda of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-10 Patheka around 8:30 am on Monday while he was hiding in his house. Benu Karki, spokesman of District Police Office Khotang and Police Inspector, said that they have filed a case of duty killing and investigation has been started.
