Dipendrasingh Airi has created a new record by hitting 6 consecutive sixes in one over. Dipendra hit 6 consecutive sixes in the last over of the group stage match against Qatar in the ACC Twenty-20 Premier Cup Cricket being held in Oman.
Qatari bowler Kamran Khan hit sixes in every ball of the last over at Al Amerat in Muscat.
He is the fifth player to hit 6 consecutive sixes in international cricket. Earlier, South Africa's Herschel Gibbs hit sixes in all 6 balls of an over in the 2007 ODI World Cup against Netherlands at Besterre, West Indies, and India's Yuvraj Singh hit sixes in one over against England in the 2007 Twenty20 World Cup.
