Chief Minister of Karnali Yamlal Kandel will take the vote of confidence on Thursday. Chief Minister Kandel has already sent the letter to the Parliament Secretariat to take the vote of confidence.
Kandel, who was appointed as the Chief Minister on March 27, took the oath of office on March 28.
In the 40-member Karnali state assembly, the chief minister has the support of 24 MPs. Kandel was appointed Chief Minister with the support of 10 UML, 13 Maoist and 1 Samajwadi MPs. There are 8 Ministries in Karnali.
Kandel has also prepared to expand the cabinet before taking the vote of confidence. Preparations are being made to expand the cabinet on Wednesday after the initial ministry sharing with the ruling party Maoist has been finalized.
