Kidnapped Kapilvastu Municipality Ward No. 4 Vinit Mishra of Malparwa was rescued by the police.

He was abducted from Bahadurganj Chowk in Taulihwa on Wednesday afternoon and was rescued safely from a hotel in Butwal after 8 hours.

It is said that the kidnapping was due to financial transactions. District Police Chief Superintendent Navratna Paudel said that the police arrested 6 people including 4 main accused on the charge of kidnapping.

All those arrested are under the control of the District Police Office. The police arrested him in the hotel where he was beaten and demanded money. The

incident is being investigated and more details will be released through a press conference on Thursday evening, the police said.
