Community dogs being sterilized in Sandhikhark

Sandhikhark municipality chief Krishna Prasad Shrestha said that 250 dogs will be subjected to permanent sterilization and rabies vaccination. Dogs have been collected from villages including Narapani along with sandhikhark baja.

Shrestha said that a group of dogs attacked and chased common people while walking in Sandhikhark market in the morning and evening, and then they had to be sterilized and controlled. He says that the dog even jumps when moving from a motorcycle to a car and runs after it.

Since it is dogs that transmit rabies disease, the veterinarian said that rabies vaccination was also administered during the four-day camp to permanently sterilize them.
