A money transfer operator was robbed from Ward No. 8 of Siraha Municipality on Sunday.

He was going from Siraha to Bishnupur rural municipality with money transfer amounting to 15 lakh rupees. Kusheshwar Yadav, the owner of Shiv Money Transfer, was robbed.

Two people who came on a motorcycle with Indian number plates stopped Yadav and showed him a pistol and looted the money from him and fled towards Mahisautha. DSP Muktinath Sapkota, spokesperson of Siraha Police, informed that the person who committed the robbery is being searched for.
