Water Resources Bill-2081 has been introduced in today's meeting of the House of Representatives. On behalf of the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma presented the bill in the assembly.

Minister Sharma said that reforming and revising the water resources sector and related laws is a top priority of the government.

'The Water Resources Act 2049 is a remarkable law in the development of the water resources sector, after the implementation of the Act introduced by the government, it will help to strengthen and modernize the work and process of water resources development and management', Minister Sharma said, 'Through the use, development and protection of water resources overall We believe that this Act will play an important role in increasing the productivity of water resources through multi-dimensional thinking in the development of the nation.'

The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at 3 o'clock on Sunday, June 16.
