Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that as new challenges are emerging in the health sector, we must be aware of them. Addressing the first convocation ceremony of Patan Institute of Health Sciences today, the Prime Minister said that special attention should be paid to solving the problems in the health sector.

"The establishment should develop more infrastructures to face and manage any challenges that may come in the health sector," said the Prime Minister.

Noting that most of Nepal's territory is rural, the Prime Minister stressed the need to produce skilled and socially responsible doctors for quality healthcare in rural areas.

Pointing out the need to expand the reach of health services to the rural level, the Prime Minister said that the fact that the common Nepali can get universal health care services is clear only if the public health institutions are strong and strong.
