Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality has built a concrete bridge on the Nakkhu River connecting Ward No. 22 and 27 with its own investment.
Chiribabu Maharjan, head of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, inaugurated the bridge completed at a cost of 5 crore 75 lakh 92 thousand 627 today. He said that quality materials were used in the construction of the infrastructure and it was finished five months before the scheduled time.
Manjali Shakya, deputy head of the metropolitan city, told Dhapakhel and Thechovasi from the bridge. She said that she will benefit directly. "Farmers, teachers, students will get special benefits, this will help the local people to prosper economically and socially," she said. In the
program, Sagar Tuladhar, Ward President of Ward No. 22, Suresh Maharjan, President of Ward No. 26, and Krishnahari Maharjan, President of Ward No. 27, said that the bridge was completed ahead of schedule as a result of continuous monitoring. They expressed their gratitude to the diligence and honesty of the construction company.
