A child died after being run over by a tractor in Chhayannath Rara Municipality-4 Chautara, District Police Office said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office Birendra Thapa said that Suprem Rokaya, the two-year-old son of Rajkumar Rokaya, a resident of Municipality-4, was hit by a tractor number 5 and 314 that was going from Gamgarhi market to Balai village at around 5 o'clock on Sunday.
He said that Supreme was killed when the tractor ran over him on the road. According to the police, the tractor driver, Dhan Bahadur Baduwal, 22 years old, was taken into custody and the deceased child was taken to District Hospital, Thani for post-mortem.
