Supreme Court Lumbini Regional Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Indra Dhakal has been issued a short-term interim order not to work. A month ago, on May 18th, the Supreme Court issued a short-term interim order not to employ Dhakal, who was appointed as Mesu by the decision of the Lumbini state government, on the petition of another doctor working in the hospital, Bishnu Gautam.

Gautam stated that according to the decision of the Government of Nepal dated November 1, 2078, a permanent doctor of the eleventh level should be a medical superintendent, but he insisted that it was against the law because he was employed in the same position in the hospital and a consultant orthopedic surgeon working at the tenth level was appointed.

The Supreme Court issued a short-term interim order on Friday, but the hospital administration said that the letter of order was registered in the provincial hospital on Monday. Before this, Dr. Sudarshan Thapa was the Medical Superintendent.
