Only bad things happen at night, so we should not think that allowing shops and hotels to open at night will destroy our culture, increase distortions, and spoil the youth.
Tourists coming to us, what do our young generation want? What kind of world do you like? How is opening a night market/market considered in the world? We Nepalis should pay attention to that too. Nothing should be opposed in the name of tradition, modern services should not be restricted. It not only repels tourism but also our new generation who wants to stay in Nepal and do Elam.
Foreign tourists have come to visit Nepal, they have come to have fun. They did not come to Nepal to be imprisoned in a hotel room at 10 o'clock at night. On the one hand, we say that we will bring 20 million tourists into the country, we say that domestic tourists will also increase, but on the other hand, at 10 o'clock at night, we chase everyone from the hotel and the road. Can we win the hearts of tourists with such a lake? Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Japan, America all have night life and tourists.
The contribution of the tourism sector to the gross domestic product (GDP) of that country is more than 25 percent. Millions of jobs have been created. And Nepal will always stay in the dark in the name of that tradition and culture? Don't embrace modern thinking? Therefore, the government's decision to open Thamel, Durbarmarg throughout the night is appropriate. Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane should be thanked for this.
He also created an environment to open round-the-clock markets in other big cities of Nepal. Give protection. Home Minister Lamichhane has also won the hearts of the democrats by deciding to remove the prohibition order imposed by the previous government from Maitighar to Baneshwar.
