Batar, Vice President of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), had a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday.
In the meeting at the Prime Minister's office at Singha Darbar, bilateral relations, mutual cooperation and the implementation of various agreements and agreements between the two countries were discussed, according to the Secretariat of Prime Minister Dahal. In the
meeting, Prime Minister Dahal expressed his happiness that the agreements made during his recent visit to China are being gradually implemented. He thanked the Chinese government for bringing the traditional 14 checkpoints in the Nepal-China border area into operation and gradually implementing important agreements.
Prime Minister Dahal expressed his belief that the other agreements between the two countries will also be gradually implemented. They also discussed about expanding and continuing the exchange of parliamentary practice between China and Nepal in the future.
On that occasion, CPPCC Vice President Bater assured that China attaches great importance to the relationship with Nepal and that it will be further enhanced in the coming days. In the
meeting, Prime Minister's foreign advisor Rupak Sapkota, Prime Minister's private secretary Ramesh Malla and Foreign Ministry's joint secretary Krishna Prasad Dhakal participated in the meeting, while the Chinese side included Vice Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Areas Chitla and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chhan Song.
