Rape accused judge Giri surrendered in court

However, both courts ordered Giri to be released on bail. Rawal went on a hunger strike for two months from June 10, 2018, saying that evidence would be destroyed after the perpetrator was released, the case would be diluted and the case would be delayed. Rawal broke the fast after the Ministry of Home Affairs agreed to facilitate it from the subordinate agencies. Saying that the agreement was not implemented, she started the second phase of hunger strike from January 1, 2008.

Sources close to the Ministry of Home Affairs said that they are coordinating with the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens to provide relief under the Gender Violence Prevention Fund. The Ministry of Women is to immediately rescue women who have been subjected to gender-based violence, including sexual abuse, social injustice, provide medical treatment, legal aid, psychological treatment and counseling, provide seed capital to start a business and rehabilitate them.
