A check post of the Armed Police Force at Baghaiyatal rural municipality has arrested a woman with a substance that looks like drug hashish, which is suspected to be being taken to India.
45-year-old Asha Rai of Lamhi Municipality-4 of Dang was arrested by the police with drugs. Armed Police Superintendent Chitrang Dahal said Rai was arrested with 5 kg 925 grams of drugs with him.
The police said that the woman was arrested and released from the Nepal-India border crossing along with 3000 rupees and 1200 Nepali rupees.
Rai, who was arrested at the Nepal-India border crossing, has been handed over to the police for necessary action. He was arrested by the Armed Police Force on his way to India.
