The police said that the protestors vandalized a house in Harinagar market.

The chief district officer of Sunsari, Jayanarayan Acharya, informed that the security system has been tightened after the intrusion and violence in the demonstration. Acharya informed that keeping in mind the peace and security, the Sunsari administration has maintained the curfew order in the entire area of ​​Harinagar Rural Municipality and in Dewanganj Ward No. 1 and 7. According to him, until further notice, the curfew remains in place in Pura and Dewanganj Wards 1 and 7 of Harinagar Rural Municipality. The administration has said that curfew will be partially implemented in other municipalities. According to Prajia Acharya, ward 2, 3, 4, In 5 and 6 wards, Bhokraha Narsingh rural municipality area and Koshi rural municipality area, the curfew has been relaxed by the administration. Prajia Acharya informed that a partial curfew will be implemented in these areas till 10 am on Monday.

Last Thursday, the situation became abnormal after a group of more than a dozen beat local youth to death in Harinagar Rural Municipality. Curfew has been imposed from Thursday to prevent social harmony and to protect the lives of citizens due to the beating between the two groups.
