On Thursday, police arrested 23-year-old Prajwaldeep Dhaulakoti of Khandbari municipality-10 on the charge of writing obscene words and swearing on Facebook.
Dhaulakoti was arrested by the police team from District Police Office Sankhuwasabha on the charge of harassing and using obscene words on Facebook.
The arrested Dhaulakoti is being investigated under the Cyber Crime (Electronic Transactions) Act, 2063, police said.
