Vamdev Gautam, the president of Nepal Communist Party Ekta National Abhiyan, has said that there should be unity again among the communists. He said this while addressing Pushpalal birth centenary celebrations in Kathmandu on Saturday.
He said that the Communist Party should put forward its proposal that it will unite. He said that as stated in the manifesto of the Communist Party, in order to build socialism, the land should be nationalized first.
He said, "At least the Communist Party should have made its proposal that we will unite". We unite. There must be unity among communist revolutionaries in Nepal. It is said in the manifesto of the Communist Party. To build socialism, first nationalize the land. Land is the most basic means of production rather than nationalization. The root is Shakti, the root is productive seeker. Without having that power, socialism cannot be established. Once again, there must be unity among the communists.'
He also promised to be active again for the unity of the communists.
