28 defendants including GB Rai in Supreme Cooperative Fraud

District Police Chief SP Ranjitsinh Rathore informed that the police has submitted an investigation report to the District Public Prosecutor's office on Friday after making 28 people defendants on the charges of embezzlement. "After a long investigation, we have submitted a report to the public prosecutor's office with an opinion to make 28 people defendants," Rathore told Kantipur.

He was detained and investigated at the Butwal area police office. After the embezzlement of deposits in Supreme Cooperative became public, the police demanded a complaint from the victim.

So far, 1 thousand 831 people have filed a complaint at the Butwal area police office, citing embezzlement of their savings. Based on the complaint received, it is seen that 86 million 18 million 23 thousand of the victim has been embezzled. However, the police investigation concluded that a total amount of 1.2 billion was embezzled from the cooperative.
