85 lakh rupees spent on labor fair

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has spent 85 lakh rupees on the Shramadhan employment fair held in all seven provinces to meet employers and workers at the same place. Out of which the highest amount has been spent from the Foreign Employment Welfare Fund, 49 lakh rupees.

According to the report published by the Ministry of Labor on Sunday, 93 lakh rupees were allocated for the Sramadahan Rojgar Mela, including contributions from the state and local municipalities.

Labor Minister Dol Prasad Aryal said that 17 thousand 921 people applied for employment in the fair. Out of which employers have committed to provide employment to 14 thousand 788 people .

'which the employer has committed to provide employment . We will monitor whether it is completed or not", Minister Aryal said. Spokesperson Rizal said that 322 stalls including government, non-government and private sectors were kept in the fair.

The ministry had organized labor employment fairs in all seven provinces from 17th May to 30th.
