With the start of trekking and mountain climbing season, daily flights to Lukla have started from Ramechhap's Manthali Airport. Since Tara, Summit and Sita Air will start regular flights to Solukhumbu's Lukla from today, it is believed that it will be easy for tourists.

As the Tribhuvan International Airport is busy during the tourist season, the airlines bring tourists to Manthali and fly to Lukla to avoid traffic jams.

Tourists come here twice a year for trekking and climbing. Previously, there used to be a lot of tourists visiting Khumbu Kshetra from the first week of October to the first week of November. Ramechhap in-charge of Tara Air, Praveen Subedi, said that the number of tourists visiting from March to May this year is high. Even though the flight started from Friday, he says that the weather did not cooperate.

Pooja Thapa, head of office on behalf of Civil Aviation Authority Ramechhap, said that regular flights have been started from today with the weather opening. Air fuel has been arranged in Manthali.
