Chennai Super Kings, who had a good start by winning two matches in a row, lost their rhythm and lost the next two matches. Defending champions Chennai were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets in Friday's match.
Chasing 166 runs for
victory, Hyderabad collected the winning run in 18.1 overs after losing four wickets. Aiden Marken scored 50 runs in 36 balls. Similarly, 'Player of the Match' Abhishek Sharma added 37 runs in 12 balls.
Before that, Chennai's performance with the bat was not good. He managed to score only 165 runs in 20 overs for five wickets and this proved to be a score worth defending. In that, Shivam Dubey's 45 runs was the highest individual score.
