Jang Bahadur Tamang (Ram) of Nuwakot Dupcheswar Rural Municipality-4, who was convicted in the case of human trafficking and trafficking, has been arrested by the police after 26 years.
Nuwakot police arrested Tamang, who was sentenced to 9 years, 7 months and 10 days imprisonment by the Makwanpur district court after it was confirmed that he had taken a woman here and sold her to India.
Chief Superintendent of Police Shantiraj Koirala of District Police Office informed that he was arrested from Tadi rural municipality-4 Satbise of the district based on special information. According to him, the Makwanpur District Court sentenced Tamang to 9 years, 7 months and 10 days of imprisonment on 19 January 2055. He who has been absconding since before the verdict was arrested on Friday, has been sent to the district jail today for the execution of the verdict from Nuwakot District Court.
