Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) Member of Parliament Shishir Khanal has discussed the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Memorandum of Understanding signed between Nepal and China in 2017 and discussing it in the House.
In the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Khanal, who is also the head of the foreign affairs department of the RSVP, said, "Nepal signed the BRI Memorandum of Understanding with China in 2017, but it has not been discussed in this House so far, so it is unnecessarily discussed outside." As a result, it seems that the tension may increase with our neighboring friendly countries.
He asked what the government is thinking about having formal information and discussions about the agreement.
