Nepal Gems and Jewelery Association has expelled three companies dealing in gold and silver as members of the association. The senior vice president of the association, Narendra Kumar Gupta, has decided to remove the three companies operated by Gupta from membership for unrestrained propaganda and illegal activities against the officers including the president.
