Everest champion for the first time when Help Nepal defended the title

In the RBB-NVA Women's and Men's Volleyball Championship, both teams won the title after defeating their divisional rivals in the finals.

In the eighth edition of the RBB-NVA Women's and Men's Volleyball Championship, Everest Volleyball Club of Butwal became the champion for the first time when Tiptop Help Nepal Club defended its title.

In the final held on Saturday at Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwar, both the teams beat the departmental team and won the title. Both the winning teams were inspired by foreign players.

Help When Nepal brought three Pakistani players to the court, Everest was accompanied by three Indian national team players. Aruna Shahi, the captain of the Nepali national team, played for the team during Everest's first title.

On the men's side, Help Nepal's competitor was the Tribhuvan Army Club. Where Help Nepal secured the title with a five-set match. On the women's side, Everest won the title despite losing the first set in the finals against former champions Nepal Police Club. Everest also avenged the loss suffered in the group stage.

On the men's side, Help Nepal defended the title by winning the set 3-2. It became very exciting in the fifth set and the last set. Although Army took the early lead, Help Nepal came back and won the set 22-20. Before that, Help Nepal broke the lead of Army twice by 20-25, 27-25, 23-25, 29-27 and tied the set.

Help Nepal got Rs 5 lakh, Army got Rs 2 lakh and Police Club which came third got Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand. Police finished third by defeating Gandaki Pradesh 25-15, 25-20, 29-27.

In women, Everest won the title in sets of 19-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-19. Everest got Rs 5 lakh, Police got Rs 2 lakh, APF got Rs 125,000 as the third prize.

Fakhruddin, a Pakistani player from Help Nepal, was selected as the best player on the men's side. Pakistan's Usman Ali (Help Nepal) as spiker, Im Bahadur Rana (Police) as setter, Dhan Bahadur Bhatt (Army) as server, Durga Bahadur Khadka (Army) as blocker, Top Bahadur Thapa (Help Nepal) as libero and Utsav Khadka (Help Nepal) as coach were the best.

Women's winner KP Anushree, Indian player of Everest, was the best. Usha Bhandari (Police) as Spiker, Aruna Shahi (Everest) as Setter, Saraswati Choudhary (APF) as Server, Indian player Surya (Everest) as Blocker, Shantikala Tamang (Police) as Libero and Arjun Ghimire (Everest) as Coach were selected as the best. The best winner got Rs 40,000 and the category best got Rs 15,000.

Eight men's and six women's teams have been selected from this tournament for the eighth NVA women's and men's volleyball league to be held next year. According to the organizer Nepal Volleyball Association, Army and Karnali Province along with Police, New Diamond, APF and Everest and Help Nepal, Army, Police, APF along with Koshi, Sudurpaschim, Budhanilkanth and Gandaki provinces were selected for women.
