A teenager died on Saturday after drowning in the Tinau River at Tilottama Municipality-6 Hariyali Park in Rupandehi.
17-year-old Dibyams, son of Narayan Bhushal, resident of Tilottama-5 Nayamil, who had gone to bathe with his friends, drowned in the river.
Bhushal along with two friends went to Tinau river around 8:30 in the morning. Locals informed the police after Dibyams drowned in the river while taking a bath.
A team led by Senior Deputy Inspector (Senior Sai) Dipendra Baniyan from the area police office in Mangalapur found Dibyam dead in the river.
A team of 7 people was deployed at the scene under the leadership of senior Sai Baniyan.
