23 people were injured when a passenger bus overturned near bridge number 3 at Amlekhganj on Hetaunda-Pathalaiya road section on Tuesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradip Bahadur Chhetri said that the condition of Nisu Khadka, who was on the bus could not be revealed, is serious.
He said that preparations are being made to send Khadka to Bharatpur for further treatment.
18 people are being treated in Hetaunda Government Hospital and 5 people are being treated in Amlekhganj. The accident occurred when the bus No. 6K 9030 going from Chitwan to Janakpur went out of control and fell 30 feet from the road.
