National Assembly Vice Speaker Vimala Ghimire has said that Parliament has not been effective due to power play. Addressing the program organized on the occasion of the 66th Parliament Day at the Parliament House on Sunday, she said that parliamentary activities have not been effective due to the fact that Parliament is more focused on power than policy making.
She said that it is necessary to make the Parliament effective with the advice and suggestions of elders. She said that it is necessary to make the democratic republican system more orderly and show that it is a system brought for the sake of the people.
