Israel is going to take 800 Nepali workers to work in long-term care centers. The Foreign Employment Department published a notification on Tuesday (June 11) and opened applications for 800 people.
According to the labor agreement between Nepal and Israel, workers will be sent to long-term care centers through government mechanisms. There is no involvement of the private sector. According to Danduraj Ghimire, director general of the
department, those interested in going to Israel will have to apply within 21 days with effect from June 11. Qualified candidates will be selected through round robin.
Ghimir said that out of 800 candidates, 500 are the main candidates. It said that 300 people will be placed in the alternative. According to the
department, those who are not more than 25 to 45 years old, have a height of at least 1.5 meters, weigh at least 45 kg, have passed class 10 and have completed at least 15 months of study in Anami or CSA related subjects or have passed class 12 are eligible to apply.
The monthly salary for this job is set at 5880 Israeli currency. Its contract period will be one year initially. After that it will be up to a maximum of 5 years.
