Peace message handed over to the Deputy Prime Minister

The message passed by the conference held in Lumbini on March 9 and 10 has been signed by Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha, Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal and all unpaid consuls working in Nepal. The canvas of the Lumbini Peace Message was handed over to Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha by Bishnu Aggarwal, President of Honorary Consular Corps Nepal (HCCN), an organization of unpaid consular officers.

The Lumbini Conference, organized in coordination with the HCCN leadership and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has called upon the world community for international peace and prosperity. The conclusion of the conference is that peace is indispensable for human peace, development and collectivity.

At the handover ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha asked HCCN to organize programs that promote the interests of Nepal. Dean of HCCN Vishnu Aggarwal said that the conference was successful in conveying the message of world peace. He said that the diplomatic representative said that both the time and the message of the conference are relevant.
