It has rained in many parts of the country today. Meteorologist Saroj Pudasain of Weather Forecast Division of Department of Water and Meteorology informed that there is light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in Sindhupalchok, Makwanpur, Sindhuli and Madhes Province and Koshi Province along with Kathmandu Valley of Wagmati Province.
According to him, in the last 12 hours, it has rained 14.6 mm in Rajaraiyan of Makwanpur, 31.8 mm in Churemai in Sarlahi and 30.2 mm in Sindhuli.
13.6 in Lele in Lalitpur, 10.4 in Dhapdyam in Kathmandu, 7.4 mm in Tribhuvan International Airport has been reported by the Weather Forecasting Division.
Meteorologist Pudasaini said that there is light snowfall in the high hilly and Himalayan districts of Koshi, Gandaki and Wagmati provinces. He said, 'It is getting colder when it rains in Kathmandu, it is snowing in the Himalayan and hilly areas. The weather will open from Friday.'
The weather in Kathmandu will be changeable all day today and the rain will fall and stop for a while and will continue throughout the day. At present, the air temperature of Kathmandu is 12 degrees Celsius, transparency is measured at five kilometers, and the maximum temperature is estimated to be between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius.
