Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government is ready to give high priority to the agriculture sector in the budget of the next financial year in accordance with the policy and program. Addressing the opening ceremony of the Trinity statue organized by Konjyosom Rural Municipality on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal said that the agricultural sector can get enough benefits from the government's policy and program and budget for the coming year.
He made it clear that productivity growth and job creation have been given high priority in policies and programs. Mentioning that the government had enthusiastically completed the third international investment conference just last month, Prime Minister Dahal informed that a draft of a project was proposed for foreign investors to solve the water problems of the valley residents by using water from Thotne river.
'I believe, according to the proposal, foreign investment will be collected for this project', Prime Minister Dahal said, 'this will make it possible to conduct multi-use water projects.' Mentioning that some wards of Konjeosom rural municipality have the potential to be developed as a new city, the Prime Minister said that a feasibility study will be conducted for that in the coming days.
