Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa has submitted a proposal in the general committee meeting not to ally with any party in the upcoming elections. While presenting the organizational proposal at the party's general committee meeting on Tuesday, Thapa said that it should be ensured that there will be ballot papers with the Congress election symbol tree in all the constituencies.

General Minister Thapa submitted a proposal not to form an electoral alliance

Stating that the current ruling coalition is the result of a binding situation for the defense of the constitution, Thapa has proposed that the General Committee meeting should make a commitment that the Congress will contest the elections alone in the upcoming elections.

"Congress gives full confidence to all party members, well-wishers and common citizens from this general committee meeting that we will fight the future periodic elections alone," he said, "Our voters will be allowed to cast their vote on the Nepali Congress election symbol tree." We will ensure the situation .'

For that, Thapa says that by making the organization of the Congress more energetic, it is necessary to instill confidence in the Congress among the common people. "By making our own organization more energetic, by increasing the trust of the common people, we will re-establish the Congress as a party that alone can bring a majority," said Thapa . Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed displeasure after Thapa stated that he would not form an alliance in the

report. But in Thapa's report, it is mentioned that the current ruling coalition should be maintained throughout the current tenure of the House of Representatives.

'In a specific political situation, the Congress had to lead a pre-election alliance to protect the Constitution . In the last election, Nepali Congress asked for votes with an alliance for five years, so we are aware that political honesty should be demonstrated in accordance with the promise to the people and the agreement with other partner parties for this period,' said Thapa's report.

Thapa has brought a proposal that alliances can be made after the election, but candidates should not be nominated by alliances in all constituencies beforehand. It is mentioned in his report that the situation where no party has obtained a majority can be a coalition on the basis of policies and programs. "When no party has won the majority, it may be natural after the election to coordinate with other parties to run the government by making certain common policies and programs," Thapa said.
