Koshi State Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Indira Thapa says there is no social justice for women. In the 'Nari-Pradesh Special Koshi' program organized by Kantipur's co-publication Nari, Thapa said that to bring social justice to women, their economic conditions should be strengthened.
She said that looking at the situation of women involved in politics, not only in Koshi, women have not received social justice. 'It is seen on paper but it is not seen in practice,' she said. She said that there are 137 towns/villages in Koshi province and only 1/2 women have been given the mayoral ticket. "Can't a woman who has been vice president for five years run as mayor," she asked, "will women lose social justice there too?" She said that the situation of women is the same in other fields other than

She said that she has started preparations to strengthen the economic status of marginalized and tribal women who are in the deprived group. While making the budget, she said that by reaching the respective districts, she understood the situation of women and created various programs to make them enterprising and bring them forward in politics.
Thapa also expressed her views on women's health by stating that Carewoman Nepal Hospital was established so that women do not die prematurely. A woman should be healthy first. Only if she gives birth to a healthy child will the family be healthy . Therefore, health and education are my priorities,' she said. He says that it has been proven that women can do it if they get the opportunity and rights, but men have deprived them of that opportunity.
