Fagu is also celebrated in Paris

Fagu festival was celebrated with joy not only by Nepalese but also by the French who love Nepal and Nepalese. They were happy by painting colors along with the Nepalese. Nepalese and Nepalese French who came from different parts of France were delighted with Nepali songs and music.

As Nepali food was arranged in Fagu's program, the French took it as an opportunity to observe Nepali culture. Griha has been celebrating February Full Moon in France since 2003.

Since there is no government holiday for Fagu Purnima in France, it is celebrated inside the Fagu Hall. Starting the program, Home President Suraj Shrestha said that Fagu festival is celebrated every year to keep Nepali culture alive abroad. Sudhir Bhattarai, the Nepalese ambassador to France, said that this festival, which is celebrated from the Terai to the Himalayas in Nepal, is also spreading in the migration.
