24 people were injured in a bus accident in Deukhuri on Wednesday afternoon. According to the police, a bus No. Lu 1 Kh 7336 leaving from Butwal for Surkhet and a bus No. Ra 1 Kh 2581 leaving for Butwal from Tulsipur collided in Vangaon of Lamhi Municipality 3 under the East-West highway, and passengers on both buses were injured.
DSP Janak Bahadur Malla informed that 8 of the injured have been sent to Bhairawa for treatment.
Vinod Paudel of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city 15, Rapti rural municipality 2 Chandra Kamala Thapa of Lalmatia, Ghanshyam Thapa, Rudraprasad Paudel of Rupandehi Devdah Municipality 4, Parvati Aryal of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan Municipality 11, Dipendra Budhamgar of Rolpa Thabang Rural Municipality 3, and his son Suman Budha Magar.
Some of the injured have been referred to Bhairahawa for further treatment.
