Dahal and Sharma registered nominations for the Speaker of the National Assembly

The ruling coalition has a majority in the National Assembly. Maoists are the first party in the National Assembly with 17 MPs. There are 39 MPs in the National Assembly with the power alliance comprising UML 10, United Samajwadi 8 and JSP 3.
