Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that the General Committee meeting has given a message of broad unity within the party. He claimed that the General Committee has given Congress the strength to get a single majority in the upcoming elections.
At the conclusion of the general committee meeting, leader Sitaula claimed that the meeting had sent a message of unity within the Congress.
'This General Committee meeting has given a message of broad unity within the Congress, I think that it has gained strength so that the Congress will get the results with a majority in the upcoming elections,' he said.
He said that the Congress which made the constitution should also show its role in the implementation of the constitution. The General Committee meeting has been completed historically. The bitterness between us has been erased from this meeting. The disagreement between us has been removed,' he said, 'now we will move forward unitedly.' The Congress will not lose, the party will be operated from now on so that the Congress will get the majority in the next election.'
He said that the members of the general committee have important ideas in terms of both ideas and facts, and the leadership should assimilate them and move forward.
