Former Vice Chairman of Nepali Congress Gopalman Shrestha has said that the Congress will not ally with anyone new or old in the 084 elections. He claimed that no one can challenge the Congress when it is able to move forward unitedly within the party.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the general committee meeting on Thursday, leader Shrestha said that the general committee meeting conveyed the message of comprehensive unity within the party across the country.
'Let's move forward as one . Let's organize well from now on. From this meeting, the message of unity has been spread across the country," he said, "If we proceed according to this mandate, the Congress will not have to join forces with the new and old in the 2084 elections. There is no need to make an alliance with anyone.
He said that within the party, the leadership should develop a system to judge all the leaders and workers. We should develop a system and method to judge everyone within the party. We had passed the principle of 'Kadamjam' in the 11th Congress," he recalled, "but it has not yet been literally implemented. We need to pay attention to that.'
