Microfinance loans improved my financial status: Nashima Khatun

Speaking at the fourth session of the Nirbhik Nari program organized in Biratnagar on Wednesday by Nari Masik, a co-publication of Kantipur Publications, Nashima said that her financial status has changed due to microfinance loans.

'I took 8000 first and my husband started the Kawadi business . I paid that amount after one year and later took 20,000 . That's how my ability increased,' she said, 'I also taught my children without taking loans. Now they are also doing their own business.'

According to her, she was able to support her son to become self-employed by opening a shoe shop instead of sending him to work abroad because Laghubitta gave loans without hesitation.

'Because I took a loan and did business, I was able to connect the house and land,' she said, 'now I feel better, I am happy .'
