Second edition of Nepal Health Conference on 21st and 22nd Baisakh

The conference, which is being organized by Trikal Productions in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, aims to highlight the importance of multilateral collective action to strengthen the nation's healthcare system.

It is said that the conference will prepare a roadmap for the future by identifying the challenges and needs in the health sector and identifying the basis for its fulfillment by holding discussions between national and international personalities and stakeholders, health workers and ordinary citizens. After the opening session, the impact of climate change on Nepal's public health, how much is the need for lifestyle scenario and reassessment for sustainable health in Nepal? In the debate, medical education in Nepal will be discussed with experts on 3 topics.

In line with this year's slogan of the World Health Organization, 'My health is my right', on the second day of the conference, the issues of health business or service of common citizens' interest, as well as the challenges and opportunities of the health insurance program brought by the government with the aim of expanding access to health for all, will be discussed in the conference.

'There will be a discussion among experts regarding the government's policies and plans, as well as the opportunities for increased information technology and health tourism, as well as complex health problems such as non-communicable diseases and cancer, and the fight against health challenges caused by disasters.'

The conference will be inaugurated under the chief hospitality of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The first edition of the Nepal Health Conference was held in Kathmandu in March 2077.
