At least 27 people have died in a fire at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot in the Indian state of Gujarat. A fire broke out at the TRP Game Zone at Mawar Road in Rajkot around 4 pm on Saturday.
According to Rajkot Police Commissioner, children are among the dead. The police say that some more have died and efforts are being made to recover the bodies.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has instructed the authorities to give priority to the treatment of the injured. He has announced to provide Rs 400,000 to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured immediately.
