President Ramchandra Paudel has said that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect and promote heritage with historical background. He said this while inaugurating the Khadgadevi Temple, which was rebuilt after the earthquake in the historic Tanahunsur Palace complex.
Addressing the event organized on the occasion of World Heritage Day, President Paudel said that the spirit of the constitution and federal democratic republic that the Nepali people received from the Constituent Assembly along with the success of political change has made Nepal peaceful, happy and prosperous. He said, 'The first condition for this is good governance and a public welfare government, it is mandatory to realize the promises made by the political parties and the government for the good governance, development and employment of the people.' Discussing the history of Tanahunsur Hill, which has been neglected since Sen to Shah period, Rana period and Panchayat period, many types of historical heritages and monuments are hidden here, he said that it is their main responsibility to search for them, protect them and bring them to light. Similarly, President Paudel also inaugurated the administration building of Magde rural municipality.
