The Non-Resident Nepali Association California Chapter has organized the Nepal Day Parade on April 14 in San Francisco, California. The parade started from the city hall and was celebrated by gathering in the local market street.

The participants in the parade were dressed in costumes reflecting their culture and tradition. Hari Ojha, President of NRNA California Chapter said that the parade was held with the aim of promoting Nepal and Nepali culture. In the parade, there was also a tableau reflecting Nepali art culture and a cultural performance. The chief guest of the

program was Nepali Consul General Rishi Dhakal, the special guest was NRNA Chairman Arjun Banjade. Nepali cricketer Paras Khadka also participated in the day parade.

On April 12 and 13, the NRNA Volleyball Cup with the highest prize money was also organized. The title of the cup was won by Texas.
